You might be wondering why there’s a clothing shop on an interior design website, and that is definitely a valid question. Allow us to explain – we believe that we are more than interior designers. We are advocates, working to inspire change on every level possible. One way that we work toward that is by creating clothing that has the potential to spark conversations around those changes that we want to make. Just like Health & Home’s resources and services, our organic, non-toxic clothing supports you on your journey toward a healthier lifestyle, too.
We have created collections and clothing that speak to the heart and mission of Health & Home in unique ways. Let’s talk about them! Our “Small Steps Every Day” line is meant to encourage you through each and every small step that you’re taking toward a healthier home and a healthier life.
Then there’s the cozy “Bring the Outside In” sweatsuits – which feature adorable nature-based embroidery such as the sun, clouds, flowers, and plants – and represent our philosophy that pulling inspiration and design from nature is not only beautiful and timeless, but has physical and mental health benefits, too. Plus, did we mention they’re super cute?
Finally, we have the “Let’s Show Up for Each Other” merch. This is meant to emphasize the parts of our mission that are all about empowering, supporting, celebrating, and uplifting each other. If you’ve spent any amount of time on our website getting to know us, you know we are always here in your corner and we will always show up for you. This collection also helps to support Health & Home’s [Project Makeover]. Advocacy work and doing what’s right unfortunately isn’t a high-paying job, so selling this clothing is another way that – thanks to you – we can make it possible to help those who need it the most.
Our products are made especially for you as soon as you place your order, and our delivery times may be a little longer as a result. Making products on demand (instead of in bulk) is a sustainable step that we can take to reduce overproduction – so thank you for making thoughtful purchasing decisions and helping us act in the best interest of our planet.

Health & Home is an interior design-based business that seeks to help others create healthy homes through minimizing toxins, optimizing design and maximizing health. We do so by addressing the build of the home, the design of the space, the decor and even the products used in the home, so our clients can live their healthiest life!
WHY THE NATURE VIDEOS ON AN INTERIOR DESIGN SITE?
At Health & Home, we’re all about creating a healthy home by minimizing toxins and optimizing the design to maximize your health! And you know what? The easiest way to do that is to look to nature! Research has shown time and time again that using more natural and non-toxic products as well as incorporating elements of nature into our spaces, can both have a really positive impact on your overall health & wellness!
Now, don’t worry – you don’t have to turn your family room into a forest to get those benefits! Actually, you don’t have to change your aesthetic at all if you don’t want to! No matter what your personal style may be, we can work with you to create an environment that supports your health and wellness goals. We do this by looking at nature for things like colors, textures, and sounds to determine how they can positively or negatively impact your well-being based on the latest research, and then we use that information to create a space that’s just right for you & what you want from your space!
So why are there these videos at the top of the pages? Well, we put these here to help set the tone for the page and give you a taste of how exposure to elements of nature can impact your mood, your perception, and even your physical health! Below you will find an in-depth explanation as to why we chose the video we did for the page you are on and the research that we used to decide on that. Our hope is that this can help you see how you can intentionally take this kind of research and apply it to the design of your home so you can naturally get all the amazing benefits AND have a beautiful home at the same time!
HOW DID THIS PAGE MAKE YOU FEEL?
We wanted you to encouraged, hopeful & excited as you shop the amazing non-toxic products that will help you create a healthy home! The video featured on our Shop page has tall, majestic trees against a backdrop of a beautiful blue sky, with sunlight streaming through the branches, symbolizing the act of shining a light on the good natural products available in Health & Home’s shop. The video aims to create a sense of wonder, tranquility, and optimism, while highlighting our commitment to offering high-quality, natural products that contribute to creating a healthy home environment. The imagery of trees and the radiant sunlight represents the nourishing and transformative power of nature, encouraging individuals to explore the shop’s offerings and make informed choices for their well-being.
Research suggests that exposure to natural environments, such as trees and sunlight, can have positive effects on mental and physical well-being. Studies have shown that spending time in nature can reduce stress, improve mood, and promote feelings of vitality (Bratman et al., 2012; Li et al., 2018). The color blue in the sky symbolizes tranquility, trust, and reliability, while sunlight streaming through the branches represents hope, enlightenment, and the illumination of knowledge. The video’s elements can inspire you to select natural, environmentally friendly alternatives for your home. The imagery of trees and sunlight reminds us of the power that can come from shining a light on the products that can help us live healthier lives and using knowledge to help us not live in the dark using harmful products on our bodies and in our homes.
You can create a space inspired by this aesthetic by incorporating natural materials like wood furniture and accents that can infuse spaces with the strength and grounding presence of trees. Shades of blue in decor elements, such as cushions, curtains, or wall art, can evoke a sense of calmness and serenity. Harnessing natural light through well-placed windows or skylights can bathe rooms in a warm and uplifting light – helping it to feel airy and open like the aesthetic – perfect for any common area!
